We've had lots of birthday parties around here. Saturday, Sis. Rosa celebrated her 50th birthday. It was a joy to honor her life. She is an anchor in our mission. She is a great leader to the ladies in our churches.
Damaris - Pr. Eraldo's daughter, celebrated her 15th birthday. 15th birthdays are celebrated like weddings around here. She is a beautiful young lady inside and out. It was a lovely celebration and we enjoyed seeing the cultural differences. Here's a custom for you. There is a beautiful cake prepared and decorated and the guests don't get to eat any of it! :) They didn't serve any of the large, beautiful cake! Hmm...I was so full from everything else that I didn't even realize it till later when one of our Pastors brought it to our attention.
We have another party planned for Saturday. :) A 1st birthday for one of Pr. Antonio's grandsons.
