Baptismal 2011

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! It's 4:15am. Early? Yes! But there is much excitement and anticipation as we get ourselves up and moving. We are heading out for a sun rise baptismal service with the Monte Pascoal church. We are so excited by what God is doing in our midst here. And today is a result of His saving grace and transformations that He makes in lives. We first went and picked up our Haitian brothes and sister and then made our way to the Negro river where we met up with our church group.

We are thanking God again for the ways that He is moving. Pray for all of these individuals. We know that the battle is not over and that they will be victorious in their Christian walk.

So yes the day started early, but we can't complain. Days like this one are some of the joys of serving God here in the Amazon.
