A day in the life...

Happy Children's Day! We think usually of younger kids when thinking about children's day. However like a little one said at Schenectady, "We're all KIDS (duh :) ) everyone has a mom!" So to all you BIG kids out there, Happy Children's Day! Do something that reminds you of your childhood. As a child of the King, today has been a great day. My Heavenly Father has given me the best gift today...life! Physical and Spiritual. I give Him all the praise for He is worthy!

We celebrated children's day by working our tails off at our Coroado property. We are in the process of selling this property and we needed to fix a "few " things before we put it on the market.

We had a total of 11 from our area churches working together, which of course makes the day go by faster and more enjoyable. Enjoy looking at the pics

Project 1

Br. Santos always with a smile and laugh. Can you tell by looking at him that he used to traffic drugs? God cleans up a person really good.

Pr. Arilson ( Cidade de Deus) doing one of things he does best. He is the "offical"  mission welder. Thanks to Forest Wheeler and Rod Wells for training him. He has saved us a lot of money.

Project # 5

LUNCH!!!

Always the best part of the day. Nazare and I both were up early to make food to share with the team. And by early I mean 4am!! We had a lovely lunch under a guava fruit tree. The menu was chicken, rice, black beans, spaghetti, farinha and of course a bottle of Coca Cola.

The next pic is of something that is near and dear to our heart. (written slightly sarcasticly) We have spent a lot of time bonding in this special location. The inside of our Toyota! 

We spend alot of time just driving from place to place and sometimes we don't want to see the inside of the Toyota. Riding inside this truck is a chiropractor's nightmare. :) However, we are so thankful to have a realible vehicle to drive. A lot of our ministry revolves around this truck.

And before any of you think it, yes, I worked hard today too! And I have a picture to prove it! :)
